Oksana Volkova is exceptional at creating images of passionate and strong women, endowed with strong dramatic feelings. Expressive appearance, spirited performance and high artistry displayed by the singer while interpreting the part of Carmen in the opera by Bizet made this image the singer’s “business card”.
The vividness of the presentation of the characters, the mastery of the full palette of timbre colors as well as extensive intellect were the determinants of Oksana’s success in the interpretation of the following opera parts:

Carmen ("Carmen" by G. Bizet)
Olga ("Eugene Onegin" by P. Tchaikovsky)
Fenena ("Nabucco" by G.Verdi)
Flora (“La Traviata” by G. Verdi)
Konchakovna (“ Prince Igor" by A. Borodin)
Liubasha (" The Tsar’s Bride" by N. Rimsky-Korsakov)
Kasheevna (“Kashey the Deathless” by N. Rimsky-Korsakov)
Polina and Milovzor (" La Dame de Pique" by P. Tchaikovsky)
Marina Mnischek ("Boris Godunov" by M. Moussorgsky)
Lel ("The Snow Maiden" by N.Rimsky-Korsakov)
Amneris ("Aida" by G.Verdi)
Charlotte ("Werther" by J.Massenet)
Venice ("Tannhauser" by R. Wagner)
Suzuki ("Madame Butterfly" by G.Puccini)

More and more often the elements of a pop show find their way into the world of classics. Oksana Volkova became an initiator and a co-author of “Opera-Modern”, a project based on an attempt to juxtapose the pure opera classics with their modern arrangements for the styles of sympho-rock, jazz-rock, and classical crossover.

“My soul – romance” is the title of a series of concerts of vocal lyric poetry, presented by Oksana. Deeply emotional, sensual and touching – these are qualities that make the evenings of romance performed by the singer an intimate and unforgettable experience.
